Get your beanbag tossing arm ready, because the JewelsFaith Ranch Cornhole Tournament is coming.
Registration for the first annual JewelsFaith Ranch cornhole event is now open to the public.
Funds raised through the February 18th tournament will support JewelsFaith Ranch's financial stability, add additional classroom space, and support the well-being of our local children and veterans.
On February 18th teams will compete in a double elimination winner-takes-all tournament at Grand Ledge Liberty Church.
“Cornhole is growing more and more popular – you can even catch the professional circuit on ESPN,” said Eric Williams, director of fundraisers at JewelsFaith Ranch. “We’re excited to bring a major cornhole tournament to Grand Ledge for everyone to enjoy.”
Registration is $50 per two-person team and includes an event T-shirt and a BBQ lunch. Registration closes on February 15th or when team slots have been filled. The tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 18 with sign-in one hour prior. There will be no team registration on game day. Blow-up bounce houses will be on-site for players' and spectators' children.
“Our goal is to raise $5,000.00 through the JewelsFaith Cornhole Tournament,” Willams said. “Playing cornhole on February 18th can literally help many teens and veterans learn how to heal and better themselves through working hands-on with our horses and speaking with our licensed Psychologist.”
JewelsFaith Ranch is a nonprofit organization, the mission of which is to provide a Christian atmosphere that helps teens and veterans learn how to heal and better themselves through working hands-on with horses and trained psychologists.
